Property managers show hits road

15 May 2013

A dedicated show for property managers and facilities operators is to take place outside London for the first time next year.

Exhibition group Easyfairs is taking its Facilities Management showcase to Birmingham's NEC between March 11 and 13.

The event will be co-located with Easyfairs' Maintec event, which targets the maintenance, plant and asset management sector. The show has already drawn the interest of DHL, Emerson Industrial Automation and Amey, while Coo-Var and Parrs have already been brought on board to exhibit.

Easyfairs managing director Matt Benyon said: "There is a significant overlap between the professionals attending Maintec and those involved in facilities management.

"Furthermore, from our extensive research we've found that a high percentage of exhibitors and visitors for this market are based in and around the Midlands, making the NEC an ideal location for these events."

Amey's facilities manager Marcus Davey said: "I welcome a new Facilities Management show to Birmingham. Having it in the centre of the UK will draw people nationwide."
