Fire Risk Assessments for Catering Facilities |
The Regulatory Reform (Fire
Safety) Order comes into force on October 1st 2006. It will apply to all
non-domestic premises. A primary responsibility for those responsible for a
workplace, whether a total workplace or part thereof, such as a catering
facility, is to produce Fire Risk Assessments.
For those responsible for catering facilities the Fire Risk
Assessment must include the grease extract system beyond the kitchen canopies
because it is here, in the ducting that grease deposits accumulate to present a
potential fire hazard for kitchen staff and building occupants.
Because of our specialist knowledge and experience of
providing deep cleaning services in catering facilities we are able to offer
informed advice to assist in the preparation of the Fire Risk Assessment for the
catering facility. This free service can be provided in close collaboration with
Catering and Buildings Management Executives.
Please contact us so that we can discuss your specific
requirements and for a no obligation quotation.
