TV Chef's Kitchen Fire - Grease in Ductwork?

Although it is far too early for the Fire & Rescue Authorities to have provided a detailed report on the fire at Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s restaurant and events barn on Wednesday 8th February 2012, there is no doubt that its spread from the kitchen area to other parts of the property resulted in widespread destruction.  It has all the hallmarks of a fire which starts in the kitchen and ignites grease deposits in the extract ducting which ensures the result of widespread destruction of adjoining buildings.

As a Fire Authority spokesman recently pointed out, one fire every nine days in catering / restaurant facilities is made more destructive and widespread because they quickly ignite any grease in uncleaned extract ducting.

It will be interesting to read the Fire Authorities’ report.

Some Comments;100% true its great when its raining and windy to set upGreat for Car Camping/Base cmanipg where no hiking is involvedEven with the 2 skin versions condensation does leak into tents in the morning after long, rain and windy weatherIs heavy in terms of weight and it being a very large circular package, forget about using it when hiking somewhere long distance, its a bitch to carry.latest version have 2 skins./layers so waterproofing issues are gone but an increase in weight
